Android, iOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry 10

Happy New Year, dear friend!

In this short first publication, we’d like to let you know what to expect from Melon Mobile’s blog in 2014. We entered the new year full of new ideas and armed with a new focus. Our deepest interests lie within the Windows Phone platform and our successful travel & navigation app portfolio. We will also be working towards expanding it onto Android and iOS.

So far we have mostly been concerned with Melon Mobile’s own portfolio. To the extent that we can (where we are not limited by an NDA), we will also tell you stories from our custom projects – the mobile development we carry out for clients from around the world. Many of these projects are quite interesting, some of them are by ambitious start-ups, others by big enterprises, and all of them carried out by our energetic Android, iOS and Windows Phone teams.

For those of you following the mobile world even to a small extent, it will not be a surprise that we have decided to stop covering any topics related to BlackBerry and Symbian. Blackberry 10 will appear on our radar very soon with the expected release of Hotels 4D; an exciting  start with this new platform.

Your feedback, questions and topic suggestions and more than welcome. If you are interested in how we do things at Melon, how we solve certain challenges, or anything else mobile, send us an e-mail or a comment here, and we will be happy to respond.

Have a wonderful year ahead and stay in touch!

Let it out, we're happy to hear from you!
