GPS Voice Navigation comes back to the Windows Phone Store
GPS Voice Navigation is back to the Windows Phone Store, fully functional and available for download and purchase. We received numerous requests by fans and friends to bring our app back and have been super-motivated to revive an app that’s held in such high regard by its users.

Meanwhile, GPS Voice Navigation (GPSVN) continued to prove its worth as it became one of the few pieces of software to receive a major award while offline. Last week, it won the Best International app award at the Mobile Excellence Awards 2013 (MEAs) in California – the so-called “Oscars” of mobile.

The price for GPSVN’s return after two-months is that the app has gone through some transformation. The new app now offers a choice of three map and routing providers. Because of issues with the terms of use, we removed one of our original providers. With it also went the map caching, 3D maps and night mode options. On the plus side, we included another much requested feature in the new release - the “Insert via” functionality, which allows you to add intermediate points on your route.

GPS Voice Navigation is still a powerful navigation app with many useful features and we intend to keep developing it and to discover a sustainable growth course. We are looking into open-source map and routing options as well, all the while keeping in mind the long list of new features suggestions from our users and beta testers.

The journey goes on.
