In the tradition of making our software available across platforms, we created Easy Locator for S60 phones after publishing it for BlackBerry in April. The really good news is that the Symbian product has even more useful features, due to less strict platform limitations.

We are happy to present you with remote-location software which not only allows you to find a phone’s location via SMS from another phone, but also to track the entire route the device’s carrier has travelled and even allow you to track discreetly. In the discreet tracking mode, Easy Locator runs hidden on the tracked device.

The application can use GPS or, in case GPS is not available, Cell ID data to place the tracked device on a map. This map can be viewed both from the device itself and sent as a link (through an auto-SMS) after an SMS command is received. Easy Locator’s features can come in handy if you would like to track your child back from school, a close friend who travels a lot, an employee or even a company truck. Another option is to install the application on your own phone so you (or someone else) can locate it in case of theft or emergency.
